Maintenance Specialist II, Sheriff’s Office

Property Data Specialist II

Duties include entering residential, commercial, personal property and manufactured home ownership title changes into a computerized database; reviewing and verifying completeness and accuracy of ownership and appraisal data; calculating real market and assessed values for real and personal property; updating the tax roll for complex legal descriptions as changes occur; answering questions regarding assessment value and cartography issues according to established guidelines, regulations, instructions and statutes; assembling property files; providing clerical support to process appeals and re-appraisals; providing support in connection with determining property values; and conducting general research to verify ownership, location and boundaries of real property. 

OYCP Teacher

OYCP Teachers work with the cadets to attain academic excellence by having them earn either their GED, HSD, earn 8 high school credits and return to high school to graduate, or increase their grade level by taking Pre and Post TABE tests.
