As a Courtroom Clerk you will perform administrative duties and projects that are directly related to the judge’s team, docket assignments, and court operations in partnership with one other JSS3 and the larger Court Support work unit.

The Records Section provides support to judges, attorneys, litigants, and jurors for the following court functions: creation/maintenance of the “Register of Actions,” (i.e. what events occur on each case before the court); court scheduling; jury management; and family court program support. If selected, you will be handling scheduling and civil commitment cases for the court.

Municipal Court Clerk
This class ensures the integrity of the City’s Municipal Court records by performing a variety of clerical and administrative support duties including processing court files/cases, case research, payment plan reviews, and maintaining security and custody of court records; provides extensive face-to-face and telephonic information; and handles large sums of money daily.
