The Operator – Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner.

Electric Motor Winder

The Electric Motor Winder is responsible for the safe data collection and rewinding of AC/DC electric motors, generators, armatures, rotors, transformers, magnet and brake coils and related electrical components. Brazing, soldering and welding of copper, aluminum, steel, etc.

Rental Coordinator

This position performs customer service and administrative duties related to rental of equipment at Peterson locations.

Track Maintenance Laborer

This position is responsible for maintenance of track infrastructure, including construction, inspection and repair of track and other railroad property/facilities; equipment operation and maintenance; and travel and work within assigned geographic area. 

Public Works Equipment Operator, Road

This position performs a variety of road maintenance activities ranging from manual labor tasks, traffic control, and operation of light to heavy automotive, road maintenance, and construction equipment.
