In this role, you will determine defendants’ eligibility for court appointed counsel and options for pretrial release by applying Oregon laws, Chief Justice orders, and Presiding Judge orders and using risk assessment tools.
Victims Advocate
As a Victim Advocate, you will work alongside Deputy District Attorneys to provide information and support to crime victims throughout the criminal justice system. Victim Advocates will be expected to work in the field and be on-call for a small duration of each month.
Community Service Officer
Community Service Officers perform a wide range of duties in support of departmental operations in one or more of these areas: animal control, traffic control, minor traffic crash investigation, minor criminal investigation, parking enforcement, evidence collection and processing, reviewing and approving online reports, and assistance to patrol and records sections.
Community Justice Specialist
Staff assist youth in making the initial adjustment to the facility or program; assist in the intake process; provides ongoing direction to youth using cognitive behavioral interventions; facilitates group and acts as a positive role model.
Civil Technician
This position is responsible for preparing civil process documents and distributing documents to the appropriate parties.
Administrative Specialist
You will provide administrative, operational and program support to area commands and worksites to include the Patrol, Criminal and Fish and Wildlife Division, as well as training Troopers in office procedures.
Police Community Relations Manager
Manage and execute a wide range of proactive administrative and field duties in support of community events, public outreach and community programs. The Police Community Relations Manager works closely with City, State, County, Federal agencies and the general public to achieve public safety and crime prevention.
Records Specialist
This position performs highly responsible and specialized administrative support.
Corrections Technician
This position is responsible for visually monitoring inmates and the activities of corrections deputies to ensure safety and security within the facility.
Administrative Specialist
You will prioritize daily and weekly workload to support agency, region and area commands’ strategic goals, mission, business expectations timelines in accordance with department policies, rules, procedures, and State of Oregon laws.
