Community Engagement Specialist

The Community Engagement Specialist plays a critical role in communicating Healthy Beginning’s message to community members, donors, volunteers and partners throughout Central Oregon. This position will provide a supporting role to the Executive Director and act as the team lead for communications and community relations.

Professional Mentor “Friend”

We are currently seeking a mentor for our Childhood program (Kindergarten to 5th Grade) to serve as a positive adult role model to eight elementary children and develop loving, caring, and sustained relationships with each child.

Transition Specialist

Works as a critical part of the Day Treatment Team to ensure consistent and supportive coordination is provided between local school districts and the Day Treatment Program.

Social Service Specialist

Employees in these positions protect children’s safety and support families.  CPS workers conduct child safety assessments of alleged child abuse or neglect to determine if a child has been or is at risk of being harmed. 

Peer Support Specialist

Peer Support Specialists are fully integrated team members who provide highly individualized and intensive recovery-oriented services to achieve specific goals and increase resiliency for individuals with a serious mental illness (SMI).

Youth Program Staff

Program staff will work closely with the program manager to design the schedule, plan and implement curricula, and contribute ideas to build a fun, confidence building experience for youth.

Direct Support Professional (Caregiving)
