POSITION SUMMARY
The Shop Coordinator will provide support for all shop responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment and vehicle logs and file
- Input daily maintenance records
- Track all equipment hours and vehicle miles
- Schedule equipment and vehicle services and cleanings and maintain service records
- Maintain and purchase shop inventory, including ordering parts
- Prepare required documentation accurately and timely, including work orders, purchase orders, parts lists, and and timecards
- Code equipment and vehicle invoices and turn in daily
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and vehicle and product technology
- Read and interpret instruction manual and related literature
- Organize tasks for review and implement daily tasks
- Maintain a safe work environment while observing all safety laws and policies
- Communicate with customers and co-workers
- Demonstrate cleanliness, punctuality, and a pleasant attitude

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate from a Technical or Vocational school with certification, or high school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience with equipment maintenance and/or operation preferred
- Knowledge of heavy equipment (John Deere and CAT), and trucks/pickups (Kenworth and Ford) and their parts/service software
- Knowledge of small tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Quality and production oriented
- Ability to perform tasks in a a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Able to communicate effectively
