The Forest House Pool & Gym Attendant is one the first point of contact for guests and owners at the Forest House. They will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and assisting guests with recreational equipment. The Pool and Recreation Ambassador will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards. They will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. The Forest House Pool & Gym Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

Responsibilities

Must maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards all owners and guests Assist with daily cleaning of the pool and spa deckCater to the needs and special requests of all owners and guestsOver sees safety procedures at the top of the water slide Must be able to function alone as well as an effective team member.Perform opening and closing duties of the Forest House Pool and Fitness Center facilityResponsible for care, maintenance and cleanliness of pool area and fitness center and locker rooms. This may include cleaning the men’s and women’s locker rooms including shower stalls, toilets and urinals, mirrors, sinks, counter tops and floors if needed. May also include replacement of towels, toiletry amenities, shower soaps etc.Clean & sanitize exercise equipment. Enforces pool rules in a polite and professional mannerResponds politely to public inquiries regarding Caldera Springs/Sunriver Resort. Maintain a professional and organized work area at all timesPerform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred At least one year customer service experience preferredPrior hospitality experience preferredPrior pool/spa experience preferredMust have strong computer skills Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance;
