Summer 2024 marks the grand opening of Caldera Springs’ Forest House, a dynamic community centerpiece designed for gathering and recreation! Be a part of Oregon’s Top 100 Businesses to Work for! The Forest House is looking to hire a Check-In Agent. Forest House Desk Agent is the first point of contact for owners/guests and responsible for the overall guest recreational experience at the Forest House.  They will be responsible facility check-in duties, maintaining facility standards (game room, gym, locker rooms, etc.), retail sales and upholding all usage policies. The Forest House Desk Agent will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.  They will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. The Forest House Desk Agent shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! 

Responsibilities

Performs all opening and closing procedures and keeping the building presentable during business hours.Responsible for the daily registration and enforcing facility check-in requirementsOffers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guestResponsible for the daily registration and retail salesMaintains upkeep of all desk resources, including refilling brochure rack, making copies of flyers and keeping desk organized and immaculateMaintains retail display cleanliness and restocking when needed Ensures all materials are current and up to dateAccepts incoming guest correspondence and transmits appropriatelyResolves guest problems and is empowered to act in absence of managerEnsures upkeep of The Forest House using the HotSOS Work Order systemMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special eventsFollows set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, and refundsChecking owner and rental guest ID cards for pool accessInforming owners and guests of pools procedures and answering general questionsEnsure the upkeep of the Forest House facility and informing the Forest House Manager or Director of Recreation Supervisor of any safety or maintenance needs for the building/surrounding groundsMaintains Family Game Room, Duckpin Bowling, Fitness Center and locker rooms to facility standards through out the dayProcesses payment and assists with all cabana, daybed and duckpin bowling rentalsInteracts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary informationAlways maintains a professional demeanor and attitude Communicates all pertinent information to the Recreation Supervisor and Operations managerRemains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.Performs phone operations and Concierge duties as necessary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least one year customer service experience requiredTwo or four year degree in business, communications, public relations, hospitality or other related field preferredPrior hospitality experience preferredMust have excellent phone etiquette Must be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust have strong computer skills Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsMust be highly detailed orientatedMust be able to work in a fast paced environment Must always ensure a teamwork environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance;
