The Sunriver Owners Association (SROA) is in search of it’s newest Community Development team member. Our Community Development department works to ensure landscape and architectural standards are met, are compatible with one another, and work in harmony with Sunriver’s natural surroundings. We’re looking for an energetic, customer-service-oriented individual to assist with the day-to-day office procedures and provide fabulous service.

This benefitted, 30-hr-per-week position is in-office and offers flexibility during the business day and work week.

A Day in the Life: What Will You Do?

  • Administrative Tasks: Answering phones, returning calls, and providing customer assistance in answering general questions, corresponding with owners and contractors, maintaining appeal records and documents
  • Paper and Database Flow for Construction Projects: Updating databases, issuing construction and parking permits, collecting fees, maintaining payment records, making plan copies
  • Provide General Team Support: Directly support the department Director, Design Review Planners, and Compliance Inspectors
  • Work Closely with the Magistrate: Ensuring citation data is up-to-date, preparing hearing dockets and citation reports, setting up special and judicial council hearings

Qualifications: What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Work Experience: Demonstrated work history of increasingly responsible related experience.
  • Office Skills: General office procedures and equipment, Microsoft Office, databases a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction terminology and blueprint reading recommended.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prioritization Skills: Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle several projects with deadlines with numerous interruptions.
  • Attention to Detail: An eye for accuracy and detail-oriented.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
