Sculpin Marine is a small business in Bend, OR. We builds USCG certified commercial aluminum pontoon boats for the tourism industry. We work Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 5:00pm (4 ten-hour shifts).

We are seeking a Boat Manufacturing Assistant to join our team. This not a boring assembly line job! Willing to train the right motivated person.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling components, and ensuring that quality standards are met. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about manufacturing and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and other manufacturing equipment.
• Read a tape measure.
• Perform quality control checks on products.
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot any problems that arise during production.
