Our Thrift Store it’s a cornerstone of our mission and a vital source of funding for affordable homes in our community. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to guide the Sisters Habitat Thrift Store into its next chapter of impact and growth.
Duties (included but not limited to)
- Lead all day-to-day store operations
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, reporting, and revenue management
- Oversee inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategy
- Recruit, supervise, and support paid staff and volunteers
- Ensure safety, compliance, and facility oversight
- Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and service
Skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Financial literacy, including budgeting and basic reporting
- Confidence working with diverse populations
- Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard computer applications
Experience
- 3–5 years of retail management or comparable operational leadership
- Experience in nonprofit, thrift, resale, or social enterprise settings preferred
- Experience supervising both paid staff and volunteers strongly preferred
- Background in merchandising, inventory management, and budgeting
