Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring timely completion of service requests. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

As an HVAC Service Coordinator at Severson Heating and Cooling, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of our HVAC service department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating service calls and dispatching technicians to customer locations.
  • Scheduling maintenance appointments and ensuring timely completion of service tasks.
  • Communicating with customers to gather information, provide updates, and address any concerns.
  • Managing inventory and ordering necessary parts and supplies for service jobs.
  • Registering HVAC equipment and maintaining accurate records of registration details.
  • Getting parts into our service software, including working with vendors to set up parts, scheduling in the software, and helping teach technicians how to use it and keeping them updated on it.
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records of service transactions.
  • Supporting technicians with administrative tasks and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and improve service efficiency.


  • Previous experience in HVAC or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software for scheduling and managing service tasks.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and terminology is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
