Safety Coordinator

We are searching for an experienced Safety Coordinator at our Redmond, OR facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have professional Safety experience in a manufacturing environment. Professional certification is ideal. The ideal candidate will also have experience with OSHA regulations as it relates to manufacturing and strong project management, and process planning.
  • This position will be responsible for all Safety Programs and conduct safety training for all personnel.
  • This candidate will lead a team of Safety Champions in the plant with executing all of their assigned Safety Champion tasks.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, Manufacturing or other related field preferred but not required.

Job Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Safety certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Experience interpreting OSHA regulations and ensuring compliance is required.
  • Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in safety. Five (5) or more years preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, group presentation skills, computer proficiency (including Excel and Word).
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to implement win-win solutions,
  • Excellent statistical and mathematical skills
