Compensation & Growth
This position offers a salary of $60,000 annually, along with strong benefits and long-term growth potential.
We are looking for someone who wants to build their manufacturing accounting expertise, take on increasing responsibility over time, and grow into a more senior accounting role as the company continues to expand.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and report on costs related to raw materials, labor, inventory, and production activities.
- Prepare standard vs. actual cost reports and perform variance analysis.
- Support cost accounting tied to product design changes, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Review purchase orders, contracts, and vouchers for accuracy.
- Ensure proper classification and documentation of financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist with reserves, asset tracking, and expenditure reporting.
- Recommend practical improvements to accounting and cost control procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred but not required).
- Working knowledge of basic cost accounting principles.
- Experience using ERP systems and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to commercial or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with GAAP and internal controls.
