We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team in a hands-on role supporting cost accounting and core financial operations within a manufacturing environment. Compensation & Growth

This position offers a salary of $60,000 annually, along with strong benefits and long-term growth potential.
We are looking for someone who wants to build their manufacturing accounting expertise, take on increasing responsibility over time, and grow into a more senior accounting role as the company continues to expand.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report on costs related to raw materials, labor, inventory, and production activities.
  • Prepare standard vs. actual cost reports and perform variance analysis.
  • Support cost accounting tied to product design changes, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Review purchase orders, contracts, and vouchers for accuracy.
  • Ensure proper classification and documentation of financial transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Assist with reserves, asset tracking, and expenditure reporting.
  • Recommend practical improvements to accounting and cost control procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred but not required).
  • Working knowledge of basic cost accounting principles.
  • Experience using ERP systems and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Exposure to commercial or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with GAAP and internal controls.
