Job Summary

Rebound Physical Therapy is a leading physical therapy provider throughout Central Oregon specializing in: outpatient sports medicine, orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation, spine injury care, women’s health, aquatic therapy, vestibular therapy, and more! We are looking for highly motivated and driven candidates who want to be part of a high volume, dynamic clinic. Lead medical receptionist/front office administrator works in collaboration with their supervisor and co-workers to implement best practices for front office processes including planning; staff communications; customer service; systems, training, and scheduling. Provides administrative support for clinic manager and clinicians in the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Sets the standard for delivering excellent responsive customer service for our patients. Serves as a liaison to clinic and administrative team. Opportunity for advancement in responsibility and compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Warmly greets and welcomes patients to Rebound
  • Performs a variety of administrative duties which requires the exercise of independent judgment, the application of technical skills, and detailed knowledge of the activities and procedures specific to the clinic.
  • With clinician input, develops efficient methods for patient scheduling.
  • Prepares patient charts and verifies that patient has correctly provided all information and the patient has signed all the necessary registration forms.
  • Communicates frequently with the Lead to ensure proper implementation of processes and procedures.
  • Ensures that patient records/files are accurate and complete, and that patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.
  • Ensures adequate front office vacation / sick leave coverage.
  • Maintains the aesthetics and functionality of the clinic in relation to cleanliness and ambiance
  • Participates in front office training and constantly looks for ways to improve the patient experience or streamline workflow to foster efficiencies in how we work.
  • Does what need to be done to uphold the professional, fun image of Rebound.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma- plus. The equivalent of 1+ years of medical office experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with computer systems email, MS-Word, MS-Excel, scheduling, and patient demographics software.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Busy orthopedic therapy clinic. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in-person and over the telephone.

Work Hours

Rebound clinics are generally open from 7 am–7 pm, Monday–Friday. Front office is often staffed from 6:30 am to 6 pm. Daily schedule may vary within those hours and depending on location.

All staff and patients must follow CDC COVID guidelines for health care facilities. Masks are strictly required for everyone while in the clinic.

As a health care facility we are subject to the Oregon Health Authority Administrative Order PH 42-2021 (COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement), effective September 1, 2021, mandating full vaccination or a valid exemption due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief.
