We are entering our next stage of growth and evolving from a founder-led business into a company where the founder continues to lead the vision while an experienced operator drives execution across the organization.
We are looking for a hands-on Director of Operations / Integrator who can bring clarity, accountability, and execution discipline across the company.
This is not a role for someone looking to maintain an already-finished machine. You will help build the machine.
The Role
You will partner directly with our founder and CEO to translate company vision into consistent execution.
Your first responsibility will be managing and developing the current team, reducing founder bottlenecks, and creating the management structure needed for our next stage of growth.
Over time, you will also help identify, hire, develop, and manage department leaders across our business lines.
What You Will Own
Leadership and Team Management
- Manage and develop the current team
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision rights
- Establish clear accountability for outcomes
- Hold regular one-on-ones and performance conversations
- Improve internal communication and follow-through
- Address performance issues directly, promptly, and professionally
- Reduce the number of direct reports and routine decisions managed by the founder
- Strengthen a culture of high standards, ownership, and mutual respect
Operating System Implementation
We have started implementing EOS, but our implementation is incomplete. EOS experience is a strong bonus, but certification is not required.
You will be responsible for implementing EOS or another appropriate operating system, including:
- Accountability chart
- Weekly leadership meetings
- Company and department scorecards
- Quarterly priorities and Rocks
- Issue-solving process
- Clear meeting cadence
- Consistent follow-up and accountability
- Annual and quarterly planning
Practical operating ability matters more than certification.
Business Operations
- Coordinate execution across ecommerce and products, the waxing studio, education, content, coaching, and events
- Identify bottlenecks and create practical solutions
- Document and improve core processes
- Ensure priorities are completed on time
- Create visibility into company and department performance
- Help allocate people, time, and budget toward the highest-value priorities
- Identify the first department manager the company needs to hire
- Help build and develop the management layer over time
- Protect the speed, creativity, and customer connection that have driven the company’s growth
Founder Leverage
You will help the founder transition away from routine daily management and toward her highest-leverage responsibilities, including:
- Vision and strategy
- Personal-brand content
- Customer and industry insight
- Key relationships and partnerships
- Major offers
- High-impact growth initiatives
You must be comfortable taking ownership while also having the judgment to recognize which decisions require founder involvement.
First 90-Day Outcomes
By the end of your first 90 days, you will be expected to:
- Audit the current team structure, responsibilities, meetings, and operational bottlenecks.
- Create a clear accountability chart.
- Establish a functioning weekly leadership and scorecard cadence.
- Clarify decision rights across the company.
- Reduce the founder’s direct reports and involvement in routine decisions.
- Establish the company’s first clear 90-day priorities under the new operating cadence.
- Evaluate the company’s current management capacity and identify whether future leadership needs should be met by developing an existing team member, restructuring responsibilities, or making a future hire.
- Present a practical, financially responsible plan for developing the company’s management layer over time.
