Medical Transport Specialist / Driver

Medical Transport Specialist / Driver – BEND, OREGON (and surrounding areas) – start/end hub will be at residence

Monday-Friday 9:00AM to 6:30PM

Courier will take company vehicle home – start/end at residence – Routes will meet up with a shuttle coming from Portland to transfer the specimens they acquired for the trip back to the Portland lab nightly. Drivers must have experience driving in inclement weather and be familiar with surrounding areas (Bend, Redmond, LaPine, Prineville, Madras) – May include travel and staying in Portland, OR. near our hub for initial training.

Pay Range:

$17.65+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Expectations:

• Responsible for the safe, timely transportation of specimens, supplies, reports, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destination while protecting critical health information.
• Engage and develop relationships with customers and communicate client concerns to local leadership.
• Maintain effective, level of communication with Local Leadership, to report service impacting issues.
• Strong organizational skills Ability to follow company and department policies and procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
