Talent Management Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition / Specialist HR to support and grow our workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will spend approximately 80% of the time leading full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, improving the new-hire experience, and employer branding. Position will also contribute to broader HR Generalist and administrative functions.

Primary Responsibilities (Talent Acquisition – ~80% or more depending on the recruiting cycle)

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salary positions, from requisition intake through onboarding.
  • Partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
  • Source candidates using job boards, ATS platform, social media, networking tools, referrals, etc.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate feedback and next steps
  • Schedule interviews, manage calendars, and facilitate communication between candidates and interview teams
  • Assist in preparing and extending offers, including coordination of pre-employment requirements
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and networking opportunities
  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, hiring outcomes, and new hire turnover

Secondary Responsibilities (HR Generalist & Administrative Support)

  • Support employee onboarding, orientation, and training coordination
  • Provide HR administrative support, including documentation and record maintenance
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and cross-functional HR projects
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Background
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, recruitment coordination, or HR Generalist roles
  • Proven experience supporting full-cycle recruiting in a high-volume environment
  • HR Generalist experience preferred
  • Manufacturing environment experience considered a strong asset
Technical Skills
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms such as ADP and/or Workday preferred
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
Core Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively across teams
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
