Entry Level Technician

We are seeking an Entry Level Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the medical field. As an Entry Level Technician, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance in various medical settings.

We are a small clinic and very team oriented. We are looking for someone with motivation to learn and a great attitude. Experience in a healthcare setting is a bonus, but not required. We are excited to train the right individual for this unique opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
• Collect and record patient information, including vital signs and medical history
• Assist with medical coding and maintaining accurate medical records
• Utilize medical office systems to schedule appointments and manage patient data
• Provide administrative support at the front desk, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and exam rooms
• Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment
• Assist with optical procedures, such as measuring visual acuity

Skills:

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with medical coding and records systems
• Proficiency in using electronic health record software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic understanding of vital signs measurement techniques
