Digital Communications Coordinator

The Digital Communications Coordinator will use a blend of creative and technical skills to collaboratively strengthen our online presence and impact. This person will utilize their expertise in online reputation management, social media, website, digital advertising, and content creation to support the strategic goals of Mosaic plus maintain and enhance our brand image.

  • Participate as a member of the Communications team, collaborating to create and share effective written and visual messaging for internal and external audiences.
  • Create and curate original content for Mosaic’s online channels in support of our mission. Track effectiveness and make recommendations for new efforts.
  • Oversee online reputation management efforts, including patient review requests/responses and management tool, directory and provider listings, Google business pages and search engine optimization.
  • Serve as primary lead for Mosaic social media accounts, including coordinating/creating annual calendar and strategies, monitoring/responses, and oversight of social media management tool.
  • Provide oversight of Mosaic’s external website, including front-end content creation and coordination, back-end support, and search engine optimization.
  • Collaborate with Communications team members and outside vendors to develop, create and implement online advertising efforts.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting analytics for all online channels.
  • Support Communications team members and other Mosaic staff with content and updates for our digital publications and communications, intranet site, graphic design and other projects as assigned.
  • Stay current on digital communications best practices and trends. Make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Handle protected health information in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional content creation skills including writing, graphic design and video production.
  • Expert knowledge of content creation software including Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Canva.
  • Expert WordPress-based Content Management System (CMS) skills + HTML knowledge
  • Expert Google Business Suite use and optimization skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Search Engine Optimization principles and tactics knowledge
  • Advanced digital communications platform knowledge (i.e. Constant Contact)
  • Strong communications best practices knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Required: Bachelors or better.
  • Preferred: High School or better.


  • Required 3 years: Three plus years related work experience, responsible for multi-channel content creation, preferably in healthcare setting.
