Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for directly overseeing the hotel’s sales operation. In close collaboration with the Director of Sales, this position plays a crucial role in reviewing, coordinating, and implementing various group and meeting functions.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Assist with sales efforts in soliciting new business and in selling guestrooms, meeting space
- Effectively communicate and coordinate the guest’s request with other departments
- Responsible for managing all meeting room reservations and coordinating details with other departments including group agreements and set-up of meeting room
- Create print collateral for the property including sales sheets, signage, and menus
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
- Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel and competitors’ facilities, services, amenities, and meeting space
- Maintain accurate, legible records and files to provide group history, ensure future and current quality service and enhance prospects.
- Assist sales team by maintaining group files, filing important documents, and ensuring deposits are collected per contract due dates

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma preferred
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Valid Drives License
