Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for directly overseeing the hotel’s sales operation. In close collaboration with the Director of Sales, this position plays a crucial role in reviewing, coordinating, and implementing various group and meeting functions.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sales efforts in soliciting new business and in selling guestrooms, meeting space
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate the guest’s request with other departments
  • Responsible for managing all meeting room reservations and coordinating details with other departments including group agreements and set-up of meeting room
  • Create print collateral for the property including sales sheets, signage, and menus
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel and competitors’ facilities, services, amenities, and meeting space
  • Maintain accurate, legible records and files to provide group history, ensure future and current quality service and enhance prospects.
  • Assist sales team by maintaining group files, filing important documents, and ensuring deposits are collected per contract due dates

  • Extensive knowledge of hotel and hospitality industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
    • Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
      • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
      • Valid Drives License
