J&R Fire is looking to higher Fire Sprinkler Apprentices to work under our Journeyman Pipefitters. You will receive on the job training. This job is typically Monday thru Friday, 7 am till 3:30 pm (depending on job schedules). We are looking for apprentices that demonstrate capacity and aptitude to learn; follow verbal and written instruction. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying or moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment. Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

We conduct on-the-job training and observe all Federal, State and Local safety/environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Current valid driver’s license
• High School diploma
• Ability to commute to Bend
• Only applicants that possess the minimum qualifications will be considered.
• Schedule: 8 hour shift

Salary

• Salary Range $ 18 – $ 25 hourly

Schedule

• 8 hour shift | 7 am – 3:30 pm schedule dependent
• Weekends as needed
