We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Worker to join our team. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment, performing electrical tasks, and utilizing hand tools. The Utility Worker will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our utility services.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and bucket trucks for various utility projects.
• Perform low voltage cabling and electrical tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for digging, welding, and other maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility lines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, voltmeters, and low voltage cabling is advantageous.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including digging and lifting heavy materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
