Main responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Assist with recruitment and selection process, collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure the timely placement of qualified candidates
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to implement effective strategies to attract, assess, and onboard top talent

Employee Relations:

  • Proactively manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers
  • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Performance Management:

  • Oversee group performance management processes, including goal setting, regular performance reviews, and employee development plans
  • Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance issues

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws and regulations

Employee Engagement:

  • Support and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
  • Champion regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee morale and identify areas for improvement

Benefits Administration:

  • Support employees with general benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
  • Collaborate with internal benefit stakeholders to ensure effective benefits administration

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR analytics to track and analyze key HR metrics, providing insights to support data-driven decision-making
  • Prepare regular HR reports for leadership

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:

  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization
  • Implement strategies to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace


  •  Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus
  •  Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and local/international employment laws, experience in Oregon, USA, and British Columbia, CAN, strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 20% between United States and Canada

  • Upholding principles of fairness and equity in HR practices
