Position Overview

The Content Manager at Curtis Homes, LLC is a key creative role responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that strengthens brand awareness, engages audiences, and drives business growth. This position ensures that all marketing materials, website content, social media posts, and digital communications align with Curtis Homes’ brand voice and values while effectively showcasing the company’s craftsmanship and customer experience.

This role requires a highly strategic and detail-oriented professional with strong storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of content marketing. The Content Manager will oversee content planning, creation, and distribution, collaborating with internal teams to craft compelling narratives that connect with homebuyers and industry professionals. By managing content across multiple platforms and ensuring consistency in messaging, this position will play a critical role in enhancing Curtis Homes’ online presence and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with Curtis Homes’ brand voice and business goals, driving engagement and building brand awareness.
  • Create, edit, and oversee content production across multiple platforms, including the company website, blog, social media channels, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, sales, and leadership) to ensure all content initiatives are aligned with current business priorities, highlights customer experiences, promotional schedules, and product offerings.
  • Manage content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent publication of content, and adjust strategy based on analytics and audience feedback.
  • Write and optimize copy for web pages, landing pages, advertisements, social media posts, and promotional materials to engage prospective customers and current clients.
  • Lead social media content creation, managing posts, interactions, and engagement strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) to grow online presence.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance through analytics tools, generating reports and using insights to improve content quality and performance.
  • Work with external agencies or freelancers as needed for specialized content creation (photography, videography, design) to enhance marketing materials.
  • Maintain and update the company website, ensuring all content is up-to-date, relevant, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Stay informed on content trends and digital marketing best practices, adjusting strategies and tactics to keep Curtis Homes competitive and engaging.
  • Support lead generation efforts by creating targeted content that speaks directly to potential homebuyers, driving conversions and contributing to sales goals.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, creating compelling subject lines, body content, and visuals that drive customer engagement and retention.
  • Contribute to internal communication efforts by developing content for internal newsletters, announcements, or team resources.
  • Support customer experience through content that informs, educates, and builds trust with prospective clients and partners.
  • Be open and willing to take on additional tasks as assigned to support company objectives.

Desired Skills, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content management or content creation, ideally in the construction, real estate, or homebuilding industries.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with managing content for construction or real estate companies is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to craft compelling content strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple content projects simultaneously, with a focus on deadlines, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles, keyword research, and content optimization to improve web rankings.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for grammar, tone, and clarity, ensuring consistency across all content platforms.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, design, and construction to create unified messaging and brand presence.
  • Experience with content performance analysis using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to inform content strategies and improve engagement.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, social media management, content management systems (CMS), and content distribution strategies.
  • Deep understanding of Curtis Homes’ mission and values to produce content that aligns with the company’s brand identity.
