Position Overview

Lonza seeks an on-site Contract Manager in Bend for a contingent assignment, with engagement coordinated by talent acquisition partner Randstad. The role supports commercial and contract management on major capital investment projects in the life sciences industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-award contract activity, changes, claims, guarantees, and closeout.
• Develop commercial risk and dispute management strategies for major capital projects.
• Review tenders, contracts, and supplier proposals; negotiate commercial terms.
• Partner with engineering, legal, finance, project-management, and external contractor teams.
• Track supplier performance and address commercial escalations.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of relevant work with contractors, consultants, or major industrial capital projects.
• Experience with contract claims, change management, commercial negotiations, and project costs.
• Background working with engineering and construction contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; postgraduate and professional credentials preferred.
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing and international commercial arrangements.
