Position Summary

Central Oregon Community College is hiring two full-time Campus Custodians: one position on the Bend campus and one on the Redmond campus. Under general supervision, custodians maintain clean, safe College buildings and provide service to students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, windows, furnishings, and common areas.
• Collect trash and recycling; respond to spills and special cleaning requests.
• Move and set up furniture and equipment for meetings and events.
• Operate custodial equipment, perform periodic building security checks, and respond to emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and complete required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of custodial, maintenance, or customer-service experience; equivalent qualifications may be considered.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to meet College driving requirements, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay and Deadline

Starting wage $21.80–$22.23 per hour, with benefits. Applications close September 27, 2026.
