ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES – As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of multi-site employee lifecycle management. This includes training, record-keeping, mentoring, retention, payroll, performance evaluations, and discipline. Success in this role is based on the ongoing professional development of your team, creating optimal utilization rates of the workforce, sound management, strong retention rates, and careful compliance. Your duties will include the following:

  • Respond to employment questions and needs
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and needs
  • Ensure adherence to all industry and employment regulatory law and policy
  • Assess and escalate high risk situations to appropriate leadership
  • Conduct HRIS administration and audits ensuring compliance, comprehensive data entry, data integrity, and ongoing, accurate reporting
  • Assist with HRIS development, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Create and maintain departmental SOPs and trainings, comprehensively training new departmental staff
  • Assist with Annual Performance Review process
  • Assist with timely and complete background checks
  • Assist in leading a team of HR Coordinators and Generalists
  • Oversee orientations, initial, ongoing, and annual training requirements for employees.
  • Oversee the optimization and utilization of the workforce, ensuring high value for each position
  • Ensure complete and accurate files for all employees.
  • Assist in processing Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment claims
  • Assist in Verifications of Employment – including EVV Reports
  • Conduct investigations and/or disciplinary sessions
  • Manage and maintain the incident reporting platform. Process all incident reports, escalating as necessary for incident follow up and investigation.
  • Offboard employees for resignations and terminations

Requirements

    • Demonstrate strong commitment to compliance
    • Knowledge of best practices for handling PHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations
    • Administrative specialty in related field – whether accounting, customer service, scheduling, billing, IT, project management, leadership, sales, marketing, business development, medical scheduling, staffing, care coordinator or coordination, recruiting, talent acquisition, compliance, office manager or management, business manager or management, human resources, or operations a bonus
    • Experience in assisted living, facility, nursing home, or in home care a bonus Ideal candidates have 3 years of experience in customer service or human resources
    • Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in human resource, people operations, business, or a related field.
    • Prefer experience with Paylocity HRIS
