We have an immediate opening for a regular, full-time, Lead Clerk. Our ideal applicant believes in teamwork, has great communication and customer service skills, can quickly learn new technology, has good attention to detail and is great at multi-tasking, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Previous postal experience is a plus.
Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license (any state) and a clean driving record.
The Lead Clerk is responsible for opening and/or closing the Post Office, assisting customers with mail and retail purchases, sorting/pricing/processing packages and mail, following all Post Office processes and procedures, and may conduct postal mail and package pick-up and delivery with Sisters Post Office. Training will be provided.
Pay from $20/hr. based on skills and experience. This is a full-time position working onsite from 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. When driving for the Post Office, a company vehicle will be provided.
