Join our team as a Master of Merchandising and Sales! As a Bulk Customer Representative, you’ll be the maestro of moving products, orchestrating displays in large format grocery stores like symphonies of taste. From soft drinks to craft beer, you’ll conduct sales strategies, composing opportunities to crescendo sales volume, expand market share, and harmonize product distribution.

Your stage will be the store level, where you’ll not only sell but also provide a symphony of customer service, ensuring our products hit all the right notes with our clients. You’ll be the virtuoso of visualization, crafting captivating displays that draw customers in and crescendo our company objectives.

But your role isn’t just about performance; it’s about precision too. You’ll meticulously stock shelves, rotate products like a well-conducted concerto, and maintain the backstage storage rooms with finesse.

Communication will be your baton, conducting harmony between you, your manager, delivery drivers, and account personnel. Together, we’ll compose success, hitting all the right notes to create a symphony of satisfaction for our customers and our company.

Essential Functions

  1. Execution of marketing programs and company strategies to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency within designated accounts.

  2. Maintain and expand sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation and customer service in all designated accounts. Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment and use marketing materials to encourage sales.

  3. Establish and maintain customer relationships through a high standard of professionalism, behavior, respectful and attentive communication. Be courteous and responsive to customer service opportunities with close attention to detail and accuracy.  Ability to service all company-related accounts.

  4. Perform accurate and detailed inventory counts, place orders for future delivery and sell product inventory to standard.

  5. Retain current accounts through relationship building, prompt communication, overall product and account knowledge.  Problem solves to meet the needs of all designated accounts and work closely with management if resources are required.

  6. Manage and maintain current company brand flow within designated accounts.  Ensure each account has the maximum number of products and packages to maximize total distribution.

  7. Maintain current Point of Sale materials at all accounts and communicate with the Print Shop and management when materials need to be ordered or are missing.

  8. Merchandise all company products following company standards with attention to rotation, brand flow, schematics, and shelf cleanliness at all sales locations throughout the store.

  9. Ensure product remains in satisfactory condition according to company standards through careful storage, placement, transportation, and attention to detail.

  10. Plan and execute product displays based upon company and account standards.  Maintain inventory levels by consistently stocking displays with appropriate product and attention to rotation.

  11. Follow company and account operating procedures when servicing accounts.  This includes but is not limited to signing in & out, placement of pallets on the sales floor, use of equipment and designated service time frames.

  12. Manage, rotate, and maintain an organized backroom.  This includes but is not limited to condensing inventory, disposing of trash, organizing breakage, and stacking empty pallets and/or shells.

  13. Communicate account updates, inventory levels and opportunity for shelf space with their manager.

  14. Adhere to all requirements for vehicle cleanliness and safety, follow all traffic laws and company vehicle policies.

  15. Observe company safety guidelines and practices in every phase of work.  Report all hazardous conditions, safety concerns, injuries, incidents, or property damage to your manager.

  16. Regular and reliable attendance.

  17. This is a safety-sensitive position. The employee has the responsibility to always be cognizant of their own safety and the safety of others, must have the ability to perform job functions in a safe manner, and operate company equipment and/or vehicles with good judgment and awareness of surroundings at all times.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED Required.
  2. Experience with selling, merchandising, warehouse, or customer service.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Experience in grocery or beverage industry.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.  The schedule is Sunday through Thursday. 40 plus hours weekly, shift start time will vary based upon daily needs of the business and route.  This is an exempt level position. 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Employee must meet company standards for driving a company vehicle, pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
