Furniture Sales Associate – Part- Full time position

Bend UpStyle is looking for an energetic Sales Floor Associate with a big smile and friendly personality. We encourage a team work ethic that is both fun and productive.

Job Description:

This position entails selling furniture and decor to customers (non-commission), accepting their payment, tracking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized showroom. The position will also be cross-trained in other areas of the business.

Position Skills and Requirements:

• High school diploma and valid driver’s license
• Previous customer service and sales experience required
• Exceptional communication and sales ability required
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Punctuality a must
• Must be self-motivated and outgoing
• Must be able to work well with co-workers and customers
• Ability to build rapport with customers and help them through the furniture, decor, and design process
• Ability to receive and process payment using computer software
• Ability to learn and use inventory-tracking software, navigate websites of vendors, and make special orders proficiently
• Ability to professionally utilize social media for store’s benefit
• Able to stand for long periods of time, lift and move furniture on a daily basis
• Ability to market using social media, basic photography skills, and other online resources
• A clean and professional appearance required

Duties:

• Sell furniture and décor
• Maintain a clean showroom by cleaning and organizing
• Intimately learn the inventory to include the different lines that we carry, availability of product, and special order process
• Duties related to opening and closing the store to include closing down point of sale register, running daily reports, cleaning, etc.
