Position Overview:

The Medical Assistant acts as the link between the front office and health care providers, ensuring a smooth and efficient client flow. The role encompasses various back-office functions (e.g., obtaining before and after photos, rooming patients, preparing procedure trays, scheduling, etc) all while maintaining a high standard of quality client care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced environment OR 1+ year of customer service or sales experience; experience in an aesthetic setting preferred
• Ability to multitask efficiently while being attentive to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy providing top-tier customer service while possessing a friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, peers and managers
• Must be a team player with ability to take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Proficient with computer (word, aesthetic practice management software, etc.)
• Flexibility to work some weekends & evenings (i.e., until 7pm)

What You’ll Do:

• Be on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Properly greet patients and assist with the check in / check out process and scheduling/administrative duties
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy & HIPAA
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
• Obtain adequate before and after photos per the W Aesthetic standard
• Assist medical providers with procedures, recording procedure notes and markings in EMR. Process lab and specimen as needed
• Assist medical providers with treatment plans, as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam room with appropriate supplies
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings
• Assist in all areas of W operations as requested by management
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
• Adhere to workplace dress codes
