Location: Bend

Compensation: $27.25/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)

Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week)

NeighborImpact Lending Overview

NeighborImpact’s lending program offers a variety of loan products designed to assist with home rehabilitation, septic replacement, well repair, and down payment assistance. These loans are provided at reasonable interest rates and are subject to availability of funds, income guidelines, and specific program requirements.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Lending Program Specialist provides a wide range of administrative activities in support of NeighborImpact’s Lending program. Key duties include communication with interested applicants, borrower income qualification, contractor communications, database management and program reporting. Additional responsibilities include managing invoices and project files, and compliance with federal, state and local regulations, grant requirements and agency policies. This role requires in-office work and face-to-face interaction with applicants and clients.
Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma OR GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office setting required
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and Windows/PC platforms required
  • A high level of organization and careful attention to detail required
  • Must obtain notary certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to travel throughout the tri-county area to attend outreach and community events
  • Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
  1. Access to reliable transportation
  2. Satisfactory criminal background check required.

 

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
