Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team in either Redmond, Oregon or Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role is critical in supporting cost accounting, financial analysis, and driving improvements in financial operations within our commercial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Planning

Plan and conduct studies to collect data on costs of business activities such as raw materials, inventory, and labor.

Analysis

Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and production methods to assess cost impact. Prepare reports comparing standard and actual production costs; provide variance analysis. Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers; ensure transaction accuracy before approval.
