As a Field Service Technician, you will be at the forefront of maintaining critical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our customers. Leveraging your expertise in troubleshooting and repair, you will play a vital role in upholding customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a diverse range of equipment, systems, and components.
  • Independently manage your schedule to align with customer needs and business priorities, ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance, service calls, and equipment installations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support and engineering, to resolve complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Educate customers on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and available service options to enhance their overall experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including troubleshooting steps, repairs performed, and parts utilized, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and generate revenue through proactive communication and relationship building.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience in a mechanical/technical role; relevant certifications or military experience may offset experience requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet background and physical requirements for vendor credentialing.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer and team engagement.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Windows, email, and mobile applications.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HVAC/R systems.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
