The Communications Specialist plays a key role in developing compelling content that promotes Paladin’s brand and products, optimizes our online presence, and effectively engages our audiences. This role requires strong writing skills, proficiency in the use of communication tools, a genuine interest in our hardware industry audience and solutions.

DO YOU HAVE A(N)…
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a B2B environment
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and approaches
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles and best practices including familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and content optimization techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Strong talent for project management and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
THE DAY-TO-DAY
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience through channels including websites, email, social, advertising, webinars and video.
- Best Practices: Utilize best practices to develop and orchestrate messaging campaigns that yield leads and increase sales. Stay up-to-date with the latest copywriting best practices and digital marketing trends.
- Data Driven Optimization: Develop, monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make continual data-driven improvements. Conduct interviews, research and stay updated on industry trends to produce relevant and timely content.
- Research industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform content development.
- Team Collaboration: Constantly collaborate with members of the communications team, leadership, product and sales to optimize reach and effectiveness of content created. Work closely with graphic designers to create cohesive and visually appealing content.
- Content Management: Maintain a communications calendar to ensure consistent content delivery. Organize and manage the library of assets for easy access and reuse.

IDEAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE
- Portfolio showcasing successful writing to promote technology-based solutions
- Successful experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferable in the software industry or technology sector
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics tools
- Knowledge or experience using AI optimized audience targeting.
