This can be shift team lead, assistant manager or manager roles. Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered. You will not be managing people in this role; the purpose of this requirement is finding team members who have proven themselves reliable in attendance and performance success.

Job Description
***Roles are subject to change based upon bakery needs. Must be willing to perform both baking and packaging roles.***
Packaging Section
- Operate (and troubleshoot) machine that bags and fills single serve packets.
- Move packets from bins into corrugated cases, weigh, tape and palletize.
- Hand portion granola with scoop into retail size bags, seal shut, place into cases, tape, palletize.
- Clean up at end of shift.
Baking Section
- Weigh & measure ingredients accurately, reading and recording numbers on recipe sheets.
- Mix ingredients and then spread evenly on baking pans.
- Place pans in ovens and set timer.
- Remove pans from ovens and allow to cool.
- Scrape cooled granola into food bins.
- Refill spice and other ingredient bins.
- Clean up at end of shift.
Requirements
No prior experience necessary.
- Accurately follow detailed recipe and operations and safety instructions.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive movements.
- Able to visually read scales.
- Able to lift 50 lb. repeatedly.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must have 1+ full year of work experience of any type with single employer.
Have transportation and on-time, consistent attendance.
Applicants with demonstrated 1+ year length of service at previous employers and continuous good attendance plus meeting production targets at Red Plate are eligible to earn at the top of pay range and possible advancement into positions of more responsibility for higher pay.
Schedule
Full time only. Up to 5 hours overtime per week with manager approval, not guaranteed.
Afternoon/Evening Shift 1:30 pm to 10 pm, Monday through Friday
