The Ambassador is responsible for greeting and checking credentials for pool entry. They will be responsible for assuring sales of outdoor amenity, as well as food and beverage delivery to waiting guests.   The Pool Ambassador will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment, and Open and Honest Communication. They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!


Plans and coordinates flow of guests at the CoveGreets incoming guests Have a daily In-House list as well as VIP listCleans and resets lounge chairs and dining area as needed- openscloses umbrellas daily Ensures guests are comfortable and welcome if required to waitAnswers restaurant telephone, responding to guests’ questions in a professional mannerMaximizes the seating of the CoveAttends mandatory monthly department meetings Assists servers, bussers and bartenders with refilling beverages and/or clearing lounge chairs Completes all assigned side-work, obtaining MOD or Supervisor signature when completeInforms server of any potential guest issuesFamiliarizes him/herself with menu & make recommendations on menu as needed Remove soiled towels as guests are complete with themPrep Cabanas for each guestAssists servers with monitoring lounge chairs for customer satisfaction, quality and additional serviceMaintains water service station, garbage removal and food service condimentsProvides general resort information for guestsOffers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guestMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special eventsInteracts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary informationUp sells other resort services and amenities to guestsAddresses any guest issue promptly and with concernOffers guests assistance with resort directions, activity suggestions, etc.


High school education preferred Prior food and beverage experience preferredAt least six months customer service experience preferredMust be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and writtenMust have or be able to obtain prior to start date a valid OLCC card, Food Handlers Card and CPR credentialsAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, sun, heat);Must be able to work indoors or outside; Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day,
