Our Sage Springs Club and Spa is looking to hire a seasonal Massage Therapist with pay starting at $45/ hour with commmission! The Seasonal Massage Therapist is responsible for administering massages to guests. They will provide exceptional service to create an extraordinary guest experience. The Seasonal Massage Therapist will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards. The Seasonal Massage Therapist will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment, and Open and Honest Communication. They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice.


The listed wage range for this position is the hourly wage plus commission for completing each service. Gratuity is not listed as part of the above listed wage range and is paid in addition to the wage listed. Provides prompt service with each appointment and performs services within the appropriate allotted timeReports to work on time and according to posted schedulePerforms chair massages at various resort eventsProvides general resort information for guestsAttends appropriate resort and departmental meetingsProvides consistent professional spa services in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practicesIs flexible with schedules, supporting the needs of the spaProperly cares for the equipment and uses proper amounts of product to assist with cost controlsHas complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areasActively promotes home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goalsUpholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and proceduresMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special eventsUp sells other resort services and amenities to guestsPerforms prep work and properly cleans and restocks room as requiredCommunicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attentionActively promotes the spa, treatments, services, clinics and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts availableHandles guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyProvides accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfactionPossesses the ability to work without direct supervisionMaintains a positive attitude and contributes toward a quality work environmentRegularly attends, participates in and supports training and staff meetings for the spaAssists in all areas of spa operation as requested by managementPerforms other duties as assigned  


High school diploma or equivalentAt least two years previous experience giving massage and body treatments in a similar setting preferredValid Oregon massage therapy license requiredAt least one year customer service experience requiredMust be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be CPR certified Must be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust have a strong passion for assisting guests in attaining their beauty and wellness goalsMust be able to work well under pressureMust be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guestsAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be able to lift & carry, or pull up to 30 lbs occasionally
