Starting the end of August, Skylark Children’s Academy is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and Administrative Assistant to support our team and families. Set within a custom-built, expansive 9,800 sq foot facility and a sprawling 12,000 sq foot play yard, Skylark will be a brand-new preschool on West-side Bend serving students ages 12 months through 5 years.

Designed for optimum functionality, each classroom provides students with direct playground and bathroom access. Support Our Recent Launch: Join Skylark at an exciting phase as the newest and largest preschool in Bend. As Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the school’s vision, curriculum, family/community relationships, and overall educational experience. Help set the stage for a positive and exciting learning environment for both students and families.

Ideal Qualifications:

• 5+ years teaching in an early childhood education setting
• Director qualified status in Oregon
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education best practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for young children
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and a commitment to treating coworkers with respect and professionalism
• Previous management experience preferred, but not required

Compensation:

Our competitive compensation package includes the following:

• Pay range of $26 – $28 per hour
• Up to two weeks paid vacation in addition to over five weeks of paid holidays
