Job Summary/Objective

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist. The aide practices within the scope of their practice defined by the State Board of Nursing and adheres to the plan of care. The aide is responsible for observing the patient, documenting, and reporting to the care manager the patient’s status.

Position Qualifications

Educational requirements include a Certified Nursing Assistant licensed by the Oregon Board of Nursing. CPR certification, valid Oregon driver’s license and/or reliable transportation with current auto insurance as applicable, and Home Health Aide certification provided by employer. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home care experience. Bilingual desired.
