Muddy Paws Bathhouse, Bend’s premiere pet grooming salon, is seeking an experienced, passionate and hard-working individual to join our team. We are a neighborhood business that provides clean, safe, and most importantly, compassionate and gentle dog grooming and are looking for someone who can share our mission and uphold the culture of our company.

We are looking for a full-time front desk reservationist. Muddy Paws pays $18/hour plus tips for this position.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Answer phones, voicemails, emails and texts
• Schedule bathing and grooming appointments
• Check-in/out customers before and after appointments
• Trim nails and brush teeth for dogs
• Maintain sanitary grooming tools, kennels and workstation
• Ensure U-Wash area is cleaned and stocked in between appointments
• Laundering and folding towels
• Cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, windows, etc)

Experience & skills we require:

• Ability to stand, bend, crouch and lift upwards of 60 pounds consistently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in person and on the phone
• Excellent time management
• Critical thinking & strategizing skills
• 3+ years customer service experience in a similar setting (fast-paced/information load heavy/pet industry) required

We are seeking someone with proven exceptional customer service—beyond basic client interaction. You must be able to read people, adapt quickly, and manage a high volume of information and tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
