As a Business Systems Analyst at Mt Bachelor, you will support the development, configuration, and maintenance of all products sold through Mt Bachelor’s point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for accurate and standardized products sold through Mt Bachelor’s POS Systems.
  • Collaborate with internal users and vendors to test new features, hot fixes, and version upgrades prior to implementation.
  • Focus towards continuous improvement of systems with priority on improving the guest experience.
  • Maintains POS configurations, integrations, and systems to support the guiding principles and strategies of the organization.
  • Works closely with the Finance & Accounting team to ensure that revenue and accounting information is accurate and current.
  • Troubleshoots, identifies root cause, and documents problems of high complexity for assigned applications and systems.
  • Escalates complex application issues to IT management and if necessary, the software vendor, while tracking issue status.
  • Assists in training development and guiding training delivery when required.
  • Develops documentation and standards for client, user, security, and product configurations.
  • Maintains data integrity and security for assigned applications and systems.
  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining POS client configurations and installations.
  • Participates in on-call rotation, as required, and participates in afterhours escalation calls.
  • Responsible for understanding reporting needs of users and leadership team. Develops custom reports, and custom reporting requirements for reports that need to be developed.
  • Assists with systems enhancements and optimization initiatives.

Minimum Job Requirements


  • Point-of-Sale system administration experience required.
  • Microsoft Office advanced knowledge and understanding.
  • SQL Relational Database knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Industry certifications preferred but not required.

  • Ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
  • Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required: Associate Degree in an Information Technology or Finance discipline preferred.  Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Minimum time in related position: 1-2 years in an Information Technology, Accounting, or Business Analyst function.
