Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Checkride Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling checkrides for our pilots and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order. This is a critical role in our organization and requires someone who is able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. This an onsite position.

Job Duties:

  • Schedule checkrides for student pilots in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with instructors, DPEs and student pilots to ensure all necessary documentation is in order
  • Maintain accurate records of checkride schedules and results
  • Ensure that all checkride requirements are met
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve any issues related to checkrides
  • Assist with travel arrangements for out-of-town DPEs
  • Accurate invoicing of students checkride fees and calculating payments to DPEs for fees and expenses
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as preparing reports, answering emails, and responding to phone calls and messages

 Qualifications/Licenses:

  • FAA private pilot’s license preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software quickly

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures related to checkrides
