Camp Fire Central Oregon is looking for a visionary and experienced Program Director to lead our dynamic youth programs. The Program Director leads Camp Fire’s youth programs in three core areas:

• Out-of-school time
• Environmental education and camp programming
• Teen service and leadership

This position oversees the Programs Department including program managers, program coordinators, and all program staff and volunteers and ensures programs are delivered with the highest standards of quality, safety, and impact.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Lead and grow high-quality youth programs across Central Oregon
• Manage the overall performance and development of a team of 20–40 program staff and volunteers
• Lead program strategy and improvement using data to help youth thrive
• Oversee budgets, training systems, and continuous improvement plans
• Partner with the Executive Director to drive strategic initiatives

Summary of Skills & Qualifications Expected

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience managing youth programs and supervising staff
• Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills
• Experience in training, facilitation, and multi-site management
• Strategic thinker who can juggle logistics and people
• Passion for equity, inclusion, and making a difference for youth
